Meccanismo per collegare l’Europa: Pubblicati gli inviti a presentare proposte nel settore dei trasporti (scadenza: 19/01/2022)

 
Il Meccanismo per collegare l’Europa - Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), ha l'obiettivo generale di sviluppare e modernizzare le reti transeuropee nei settori dei trasporti, dell'energia e digitale, nonché di agevolare la cooperazione transfrontaliera nell'ambito dell'energia rinnovabile, tenendo conto degli impegni di decarbonizzazione a lungo termine e ponendo l'accento sulle sinergie tra i settori.

Gli obiettivi specifici dell’MCE nel settore dei trasporti sono i seguenti: 

• contribuire allo sviluppo di progetti di interesse comune per quanto riguarda reti e infrastrutture efficienti, interconnesse e multimodali per una mobilità intelligente, interoperabile, sostenibile, inclusiva, accessibile e sicura in conformità del regolamento (UE) n. 1315/2013; 
• adeguare porzioni della TEN-T ai fini di un duplice uso dell’infrastruttura di trasporto per migliorare sia la mobilità civile che quella militare.

In particolare nel settore dei trasporti, il CEF promuove reti interconnesse e multimodali per sviluppare e ammodernare le infrastrutture ferroviarie, stradali, marittime e di navigazione interna e per una mobilità sicura e protetta. E' data priorità all’ulteriore sviluppo delle reti transeuropee dei trasporti (TEN-T), concentrandosi sui collegamenti mancanti e sui progetti transfrontalieri che presentano un valore aggiunto dell’UE. 1,56 miliardi di euro del bilancio per i trasporti finanzia grandi progetti ferroviari tra i paesi beneficiari del Fondo di coesione.
