Scade il 18 aprile 2018 l'invito a presentare proposte "salute e cure migliori, crescita economica e sistema sanitario sostenibile", pubblicato nell'ambito del pilastro "eccellenza scientifica" del programma Horizon 2020.
Il presente invito, pubblicato sulla Gazzetta Ufficiale dell'Unione europea, serie C 368 del 28 ottobre 2017, finanzia progetti relativi alle seguenti priorità:

- Malattie infettive e miglioramento della salute globale
- Sistemi innovativi di assistenza sanitaria - Integrazione delle cure
- Decodifica del ruolo dell'ambiente, compresi i cambiamenti climatici per la salute e il benessere

- SC1-BHC-05-2018: International flagship collaboration with Canada for human data storage, integration and sharing to enable personalised medicine approaches
- SC1-BHC-09-2018: Innovation platforms for advanced therapies of the future
- SC1-BHC-16-2018: Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) - Scaling-up of evidence-based health interventions at population level for the prevention and management of hypertension and/or diabetes
- SC1-BHC-18-2018: Translational collaborative cancer research between Europe and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)
